NEW HIRES

Hall & Hall Engineers, Hiawatha, has hired Matt Johnson (see photo) as a project manager and Brandon Coffman (see photo) as a landscape architect.

Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors hired Rudy Cahill (see photo) as an agent in its Cedar Rapids office, 5805 Council St. NE, Suite A.

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation hired Amber Waring (see photo) as a marketing associate. Waring was formerly with Farmers State Bank, Marion.

Saxton has hired Ann Dombroski (see photo) and Katheryn Volesky (see photo) as part of its business development team in Cedar Rapids.

Stamats Communications, Cedar Rapids, has hired Collette Litzinger (see photo) as director of integrated marketing in its educational services group and Nick Ludwig (see photo) as marketing coordinator. Ludwig was previously senior educational leadership consultant with Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Also hired were Jen Visser (see photo), previously with Clickstop and GoDaddy, as senior digital strategist; Erin Keefe (see photo) as designer; Kristi Kidd (see photo), previously with Western Fraternal Life Association, as design associate; Lindsey Cook (see photo) as proposal coordinator; and Morgan Thenhaus (see photo), previously an intern, as production coordinator.

MidWestOne Bank, Iowa City, has hired Amy Hospodarsky (see photo), previously with the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce, as community relations manager; Jeannette Hall (see photo), previously with Westwinds Real Estate Services Inc., as senior accountant; and Renee Smith-LaBarge (see photo), previously with Lincoln Savings Bank, as vice president of business services.

Life 101.9 (KNWS-FM), based in Waterloo, with a station in Cedar Rapids, has hired Bryon Mengle (see photo) as afternoon drive personality and listener engagement director.

Mount Mercy University hired Josie Takes (see photo) as alumni relations coordinator. Takes was previously interim events and programs director with the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival.

PROMOTIONS

Dr. Brooke Strahn-Koller (see photo), an instructor at Kirkwood Community College for 12 years, has been named Dean of Social Sciences at the college.

BOARD MEMBERS

The Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors elected Renae Forsyth-Christy (see photo) of Skogman Realty as president. New officers are John Beck, Iowa Realty, president-elect, and Adam Gibbs, GLD Commercial Real Estate Advisors, treasurer. Other directors include Kathy Carpenter, past president; Ollie Dent, Stefan Doerrfeld, Bill Grabe Jr., Sheila King, Jeanne Matthews, Jill Monnahan, Mike Schulte, Mike Shaffer and Bonnie Tiernan.

Don Shurr (see photo), North Liberty, was elected to the board of directors of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association, based in Alexandria, Va. Shurr is a certified prosthetist/orthotist, physical therapist and director of education and special projects for American Prosthetics & Orthotics in Iowa City.
