Iowa junior guard Samantha Logic was named by media to the all-Big Ten preseason women’s basketball team.

On the men’s side, Michigan State was selected unanimously as the preseason team to beat. Michigan and Ohio State were tabbed second and third. Michigan State guard Gary Harris was named the preseason player of the year. Joining Harris on the first team was Michigan’s Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson III, Michigan State’s Adreian Payne, Ohio State’s Aaron Craft and Penn State’s Tim Frazier.
