Here is the company with which Iowa’s football team is running: Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, Louisville and Missouri.
In one regard, anyway.
Those are the only six teams that have led at halftime in every game this season.
Nebraska and Oregon fell by the wayside last week. Nebraska really fell. It trailed Minnesota 17-13 at halftime on the way to a 34-23 loss to the Gophers. Oregon was tied at 14 with UCLA at halftime, then remembered it was Oregon. The Ducks won, 42-14.
Alabama, Baylor, FSU, Louisville and Mizzou have a combined record of 36-2. Missouri lost to South Carolina in overtime after leading at halftime, 14-0.
