Your Ohio State two deeps: Hey, everyone is good to go

All six starters injured in MSU game on depth chart going into Ohio State

I don't usually do hypotheticals, but I think this one is relevant.

Let's say Iowa had a game last weekend instead of the weekend off. Remember all those bodies that dropped out of Michigan State? That might've been messy.

Keep in mind that coach Kirk Ferentz said last week he expected everyone to be back for this weekend's game at No. 3 Ohio State (6-0, 2-0, winners of 18 consecutive games).

-- RB Mark Weisman: He sprained an ankle and ended up with tape on his right arm. He missed most of two games with an ankle sprain last season. He was in a walking boot for at least some of last week. I think he would've played, but I wonder how effective. Weisman talked after Michigan State and said he thought he would be fine.

-- WR Kevonte Martin-Manley: He suffered a leg injury. No idea what it is. I saw him after the game and he seemed to be moving OK. That's my medical analysis "seemed to be moving OK."

-- DE Dominic Alvis: On the radio, they said hip/back. I don't know. Junior Mike Hardy played in his absence.

-- LB Christian Kirksey: He took a clipping penalty at the end of the game and looked as though he sprained his ankle. It happened on the D's last series. Would he have gone back out? I don't know. Looked like a sprained ankle.

-- DT Carl Davis: He missed some time with what looked like a knee tweak. He re-entered the game and said afterward he was fine.

-- OT Brandon Scherff: He has a leg/ankle  issue with some of the screws that helped fix his broken fibula and dislocated left ankle suffered a little more than a year ago against Penn State. It's been bothering him all season. I don't see how it suddenly goes away.

Don't forget LB James Morris missed a series or two in the second half.

After the game, Ferentz described everything as a sprain or strain. Still, look at those names. Look at those names.

Welp, the depth chart says everyone is good to go for the Buckeyes this weekend. (Which is how the depth chart would look if I were the coach, whether it held any meaning or not.)

--  This is a 2:36 p.m. kick on ABC with the reverse mirror thingie going to ESPN2.

-- The Northwestern game on Saturday, Oct. 26, will kickoff at 11 a.m. and will be televised on BTN (HD).
