Iowa City-based business-processing outsourcing company TMone will hire an additional 150 workers, with the bulk of those new jobs going to its Iowa City and Spearfish, S.D., locations, according to company officials.
Jared Bazzell, director of corporate development, said the company already has begun hiring, with about 25 having attended orientation on Monday. The company will continue hiring over the next few months until positions are filled.
Founded in 2003, TMone has four locations in Iowa and South Dakota. The call center specializes in assisting companies with outsourcing database and customer relationship management for financial services, health care, and transportation.
Bazzell said increased demand lead to the hiring push, which started in 2012.
TMone was recently named to “Inc.” magazine’s list of 5,000 fastest growing companies for the seventh consecutive year.
TMone had an estimated revenue of $13.3 million in 2012 and 711 employees compared with $6.5 million in 2009. Bazzell said revenue is projected to increase again to $20 million this year.
Bazzell said that TMone will not need to expand its facilities, however, adding its Iowa City location has of room for growth.
