Nine months ago, an article about the origin of Fox News was printed. The gist of the article was the propaganda and brain washing resulting from daily doses from this network.
An example has surfaced in a young man I have known for 13 years. In all of those years, politics and any interest in same was nonexistent for him. After spending 11 weeks at home recovering from surgery and viewing hours of Fox News, the transformation is complete. He now is Republicanized, as far right and negative as possible. He looks like, sounds like and preaches Fox News and will not expect any other source of information.
Fox News, a communications arm of Rupert Murdoch, media mogul, was launched in 1996. Murdoch, a heavy Republican donor, also owns the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Dow Jones 29 magazines and newspapers in 21 nations. With the downfall of George W. Bush and the election of Barack Obama, Fox accelerated the militant and aggressive reporting and emphasized the Republican Party objective to “make Obama a one-term president and move the opposite way on any idea or plan.” The introduction of the Tea Party gave Fox added fuel to ruin the presidency at any cost. Fox News is still trying.
