A local teen who was involved in a robbery and assault resulting in serious injury of a police officer is in trouble again with the law. How much more does the judge need to see in order for him to realize whether or not he “is taking his probation seriously?”
Now he is charged with driving under a suspended license. What if he would have injured someone else while driving? Probation again?
I wonder how officer Tim Davis feels? I would take it as a slap in the face if it were me. He will never be the same person again because of the actions of these selfish cowards.
The other teen involved in the robbery has since racked up six violations, had to serve 120 days in jail. It took six?
How can we be expected to feel anything but anger toward a system that lets these kids walk with a slap on the wrist? I don’t think age should be considered when dealing out punishment. They just get worse as they get older. Maybe we should coin a new phrase, Teflon Teens.
