NEW HIRES

Skywalk Group hired Carla Werning (see photo) as business development manager. She previously worked with McGladrey.

GreatAmerica Financial Services hired Hannah Erb (see photo) as account manager and Beth Launius (see photo) as credit analyst.

Kyle Austen (see photo) is now with Insurance Associates of Iowa City as an agent.

Mount Mercy University hired Blake Mikesell (see photo), previously with the State Public Defender’s office, as director of public safety. Also, Sara Baughman (see photo), formerly with RuffaloCODY, was hired as assistant director for communications and marketing.

Ryan Shenefelt (see photo) has started with de Novo Alternative Marketing as a digital strategist.

Goodwill of the Heartland hired Dawn Turano (see photo) of Anamosa as its business development specialist. Also, Steve Darrow (see photo) of Cedar Rapids was hired as manager of the Marion Goodwill store.

Tallgrass Business Resources, Cedar Rapids, hired Carol Montag (see photo), previously with Yellowbook and Stamats Business Media, as furniture account manager.

Jon M. McCright (see photo) has joined Lynch Dallas Attorneys at Law in Cedar Rapids as a shareholder.

PROMOTIONS

Shive-Hattery named Iowa City architect Mark Seabold (see photo) as its commercial sector leader.

Mount Mercy University promoted Clinton Dietrich (see photo), previously assistant director of institutional events, to director of events, and Erin Harville (see photo), formerly institutional events assistant, to assistant director of institutional events.

Paul P. Morf, a lawyer with Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman, received the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award.

MercyCare Community Physicians’ family practice clinics, Cedar Rapids, received a three-year Patient-Centered Medical Home 2011 recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

United Way of East Central Iowa recognized its volunteers. Marc and Cathy Gullickson, 2012 campaign chairs, received the John B. Northcott Award; Joe Schimberg, Schimberg Co., the Community Philanthropist Award; and United Fire Group and its employees, the Spirit Award.
