Summer fashion shines in metallics

Models weren't just walking on metal runways at the spring fashion shows, they were wearing metal as well.
Metallic fabrics create a space-aged futuristic look that can be out of this world. They time travel too with flapper-inspired looks made popular by the release of the film, “The Great Gatsby.”
The dress pictured here combines the shine of metallics with the shape and fringe of the Roaring 20s and the hue of the season - mint. These summer frocks are ready to shine, literally, and show off that summer glow.
The garment is enough detail, so go light on the accessories and makeup. Or for a dramatic look, a smoky eye is all that's needed. Afraid of looking like an astronaut in head to toe shimmering fabric? Use accessories to embrace the trend without going over the top.
Other trends likely to pop up in stores and on the streets this summer: black and white, bold stripes, leather, cutouts and florals.
With any fashion trend, don't go so far from your comfort zone that you won't wear what you buy. That's always a fashion don't.
