NEW HIRES

Mike Russ (see photo) has joined World Trend Financial as an adviser associate. He was previously associate director of admissions at Mount Mercy University.

Greg Schafer (see photo) has been hired by Lynch Ford Chevrolet in Mount Vernon as Internet sales manager.

Tim Stiles (see photo) is now with United Way of East Central Iowa as vice president-chief operations officer. Stiles previously was CEO of United Way in Sioux City.

Berthel Fisher has hired Kathlean Cobler (see photo) and Jeanna Stecklein (see photo) as a compliance OSJ principal, Crystal Crippen (see photo) as operations associate and Carla DeBoer (see photo) as compliance advertising specialist.

PROMOTIONS

Universal Lending Corp. has promoted Shannon Wright (see photo) to assistant branch manager and mortgage loan originator of its Cedar Rapids office.

April Deardorff (see photo) has been promoted to quality coordinator at Infinity Contact Inc. Previously she was a sales agent.
