The current Gazette Book Club selection is Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.”

Chosen in conjunction with this year’s Metro Library Network’s 2013 Linn Area Reads selection, the book was selected, in part, because 2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of “Pride and Prejudice.”

The final Linn Area Reads event will be a showing of “Pride and Prejudice” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Theatre Cedar Rapids, 102 Third St. SE, Cedar Rapids.

Prior to the viewing, The Gazette Book Club will hold a discussion at 6 p.m. We will have treats by Zins and be giving away gift cards and a nook.
