A Cedar Rapids springtime tradition finds a new home in 2013.

NewBo City Market will host the H.D. Youth Center Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30, at 1 p.m. in the Market Square, rain or shine.

“We hope to even exceed our customary crowd of hundreds of children, their parents and guardians,” said Henry Davison, H.D. Youth Center founder. “The Market square provides an ideal location for the Easter Bunny to hide his eggs and for the little ones to find them,” Davison added.

The event is free to all – there is no charge to participate. Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their own baskets and bags.

The H. D. Youth Center is located at 943 14th Ave. S.E. in Cedar Rapids, IA. Its mission is to provide a safe, drug-free and supervised learning environment for children.

Located at 1100 3rd St. S.E. in Cedar Rapids, IA, the NewBo City Market is a dynamic public space where local entrepreneurs create an environment of fresh, wonderful food, products and experiences. Reclaimed from a once flood-ravaged industrial site in the heart of the New Bohemia district, it is a public market serving “Fresh Fun.” Bring your appetite!
