Iowa City will host another public meeting on its flood-related project to reconstruct Dubuque Street and Park Road bridge.

The meeting, the third on the so-called Iowa City Gateway project, will start at 4 p.m. April 4 at Parkview Church, 15 Foster Rd., Iowa City. The first part of the meeting will allow people to stop in and see the preferred option for the project and talk with members of the project team. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a short presentation and then a public hearing.

Staff expect to discuss options for the final design of the project with the City Council in late May or early June. The design phase may take 16 to 20 months.
