Video: Paul Rhoads speaks to a leadership class

The Iowa State football coach has the gift of gab.

I think some of you would find this interesting. It’s Iowa State football coach Paul Rhoads talking to an ISU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Leadership class, and it’s some candid stuff. It’s far more interesting than 99.9 percent of coaches’ press conferences you’ll ever hear.

Paul Rhoads

He talks about his No. 1 experience in college athletics, and it doesn’t involve winning a game.

He talks about what a leader has to do.

He also talks about his well-known “I’m proud to be your football coach” statement and its origins.

This is an Iowa State video, and I’m sure it has quickly made the rounds, so forgive me if this is old news to you. Thanks to thewizofodds.com for passing this my way.
