Cedar Rapids firefighters have partnered with the Collins Road Theatres, 1462 Twixt Town Road, Marion to present the Tribeca Film Festival Audience Award-Winning “BURN” movie. The film will be showing on April 23rd and April 24th.

“BURN” brings audiences closer into the flames than ever before – into real fires and real collapsing buildings. The film captures the bravery of Detroit’s Engine Company 50, one of the busiest firehouses in America. Underpaid, underfunded and working with broken-down equipment, these firefighters risk their lives on every shift.

The film is being presented by the Iowa Professional Firefighters Association and the Iowa Firefighters Association.

Tickets are $15 and are available online at www.detroitfirefilm.org. A portion of all profits from the film will go the Leary Firefighters Foundation to purchase new equipment for firefighters.
