Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine has released its latest rankings Monday. The University of Iowa, which placed third at the Big Ten Championships Sunday, is third in the tournament ratings.

Penn State, which won its third straight conference championship, and Oklahoma State, which set a scoring record at the Big 12 Championships, are first and second with the NCAA Division I Championships March 21-23 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

One thing that stood out to me. Iowa's Nick Moore has beaten Minnesota's Cody Yohn three times this season, including in the 165-pound quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament. I guess the last one is the one that matters most, because Yohn moved to 10th, one spot ahead of Moore, with a sudden victory overtime win for third. Not sure I agree with the reasoning on that one.

UNI is 21st in the team rankings. Iowa State is tied for 24th.
