Iowa’s Devyn Marble scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished four assists in Iowa’s 63-55 win against Illinois on Tuesday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Here’s Marble talking about the win and Josh Oglesby’s play down the stretch.

Iowa Coach Fran McCaffery showed obvious excitement with the win and happiness with Oglesby’s performance late.

Iowa sophomore center Gabe Olaseni blocked six shots for Iowa. He scored two points and grabbed two rebounds.

Oglesby hit only 26 percent of his 3-point attempts this year but he knocked down two big ones against Illinois. He finished with 10 points.

Illinois Coach John Groce was unhappy with his team’s execution and toughness. He praised Iowa’s defense. The Illini fell to 21-10 overall.

Iowa center Adam Woodbury scored Iowa’s first two points and eight overall, tying his Big Ten high.
