Cornell hires new VP for enrollment

Colleen Murphy will oversee Cornell's offices of admission and financial aid

MOUNT VERNON – Cornell College has hired a new vice president for enrollment and dean of admission.

Colleen Murphy will start at Cornell July 1. Murphy comes from Greensboro, N.C., where she was vice president for enrollment management and marketing at Greensboro College and a consultant for Noel-Levitz.

Murphy will oversee Cornell’s offices of admission and financial aid. She has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a master’s of business administration from the University of Illinois.

Murphy was worked in marketing and higher education for nearly 20 years, officials said.
