We could collaborate with other casinos

Relative to Linn County’s need for a casino: If money to provide stipends to the non-profit entities in our community is our objective, why not ask the Riverside, Tama (Meskwaki), Waterloo, Dubuque and Clinton casinos to share more of their spending account so we can also do some of the things we need or want to do in our county? In essence, we would collaborate with the other five casinos in our area, and stop being adversarial in our approach. If the numbers are right, it would be a win for all.

There is no simple solution to implement or not to implement a Linn County casino. I do believe, however, this thought has a lot of merit, but it may be too late to pursue.
