Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, in partnership with the Healthy Living Coalition, will be airing “Weight of the Nation,” an HBO series highlighting the current obesity trends in the U.S. and how individuals can start taking steps to turn this epidemic around.

Join Beverly Freeman, RN, Clinical Health Coach at Mercy Medical Center, on Tues., March 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to view “Challenges,” a film featuring the external and internal factors that work as forces against being a healthy nation. Following the film, Freeman will lead a discussion covering topics related to obesity, and answer questions. The event will be held at Mercy‘s Hallagan Education Center.
