Kohl’s plans to open its store March 6 near Westdale Mall on Cedar Rapids’ west side.

The new addition at 3030 Wiley Blvd. SW at will employ 105 workers, officials of the Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based company said.

The building that houses the store was constructed with LEED certified materials and will feature an updated design that includes store-wide Wi-Fi, updated check-out stations and expanded customer service areas at the front of the store.

Grand opening ceremonies are planned for the Cedar Rapids and new Ames, Iowa stores on March 6th.
