Stimulate soil with the Science Center March 16

Stimulate soil and more with the Science Center and the Solid Waste Agency from 10:30-11:30 am on March 16, 2013. Discover the science and benefits behind composting as you dig into some hands-on experiments. Leave with some great goodies, including a plant and compost receptacle for home. Jason Evans and the Solid Waste Agency are sponsoring this event.

This event takes place at the Cedar Rapids Science Center and is for families and kids of all ages. The event is free and includes gallery admission for the day.

The Science Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 5pm. Admission during public hours is $3.00. Located at Lindale Mall, the museum has ample parking and is conveniently located between First Avenue and Collins Road.
