Coralville is creating a new community plan and wants public input on a document that will guide decision-making by the city for years to come.

The plan will serve as the city’s official guide for land use, physical improvements, local services and development. Its current plan dates to 1992.

A website will keep the public informed on the process and provide a chance for people and businesses to weigh in with things like an interactive mapping tool on which they can point out things they like, do not like or want in the city.

Comments also will be take online, and a community workshop is scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. March 7.
