Right to work isn’t unfair

I don’t understand Rick Moyle’s statement that “right to work” is an intrusion on “free speech” (“Right to work unfair to unions,” Feb. 1). It seems the opposite is true. Unions use dues to support Democrat candidates, which forces all members to financially support candidates with whom they disagree.

He is correct stating that unions must support non-members in disputes. This is not fair but is the law. It should be modified. But I can see a business may use the union contract to fix compensation for all employees as a matter of convenience.
