Bravo, John Arbore! Your Jan. 16 letter, “Rush to remove trees inappropriate,” states the truth.

Living in Lexington East, I was appalled and devastated when I drove home on Westchester Drive and saw probably more than 10 trees that had been cut down. What is going on?, I thought. Surely there should have been a better solution.
