The largest annual fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids and East Central Iowa will run Feb. 5-28, 2013 at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.
According to Kathy Beardsworth, Fund Developer and Marketing Director, Big Brother Big Sisters, Big Brothers Big Sisters has high expectations for its largest annual fundraising event, Bowl For Kids’ Sake this year. She anticipates the event will raise $375,000 with the help of over 3,000 bowlers.
Bowl For Kids’ Sake event helps put youth on a path to success in school and life. All the money raised through Bowl For Kids’ Sake will go directly towards helping youth in the Cedar Rapids community by providing them with caring mentors.
