What five items belong in a time capsule to be embedded in a wall of the new U.S. Cellular Center?

The city of Cedar Rapids and The Carl & Mary Koehler History Center are teaming up on the time capsule project. Experts at The History Center will pick the top five ideas from among those suggested.

Ideas can be submitted via email at history@historycenter.org by Feb. 8.

The ideas must fit into the time capsule, which is 18 inches high, 14 inches wide and five-and-one-half inches deep.

The new U.S. Cellular Center consists of both the new convention center and what had been known as the U.S. Cellular Center arena next to it.
