Every child has a right to an education

I was touched by Donald Frost’s Jan. 19 letter, “Father struggles to keep son in school.” Frost describes his hopeless feelings while simply trying to secure an education for his autistic son.

To Frost and other parents in similar situations, I would say that your sons and daughters have a right to an education. You are their best and strongest advocate. Don’t let the schools bully you and don’t let them give up on your children. There is a niche in the world especially for them, too. God bless you, your very special kids, and your families.
