This week’s guest on the Mike Hlas Podcast is former University of Iowa offensive guard Julian Vandervelde, who just finished his second season in the NFL.

Vandervelde was on the transactions list a lot in 2012, going from Philadelphia to Tampa Bay and back to Philly, where he currently is under contract. He talks about that roller coaster,  about life in the NFL, what it takes to get a foothold in the league and Super Bowl-bound fellow ex-Hawkeye OG Marshal Yanda.
