Mercy Medical Center, in partnership with the Healthy Living Coalition, will be airing “Weight of the Nation,” an HBO series highlighting the current obesity trends in the U.S. and how we can start taking steps to turn this epidemic around. Join Mercy Dietitian, Terry Clark, RD, LD on February 5, 2013 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. to view “Choices,” a film featuring popular “promise diets and quick fix pills” and how we as a nation still struggle with weight. Following the film, Terry will lead a discussion covering the topic and answer questions. The event will be held at the Cedar Rapids Public Library West, Sednak Room.
