On Jan. 12, the Xavier High School robotics team, Xpendables, finished in the top ten at a FIRST Tech Challenge tournament at North High School in DesMoines. The team members who competed were Noah Hagen, Lucy Liu, Kyle Skoumal, and Spencer Wille. Their redesigned robot performed much better than in previous competitions. The Xpendables have qualified for state competition, to be held Feb. 23 at the University of Iowa.
