Where’s scrutiny on Benghazi?

In regard to the tragedy at our embassy that recently occurred in Benghazi, Hillary Clinton said, “The buck stops here.” Barack Obama also said, “The buck stops here.” Clinton later said that she is too ill to testify before a committee of Congress. Then it was reported that three people in the State Department, who no one has ever heard of, have been fired.

It is interesting to compare Benghazi with Watergate, an office break-in to steal some political papers. No one was killed. The press hounded President Richard Nixon to the point that he resigned.

The Benghazi tragedy is much more serious than Watergate. Our ambassador to Libya had requested more security many times, but he was ignored. If Watergate was serious enough to make a president resign, then Benghazi certainly is. We need the press and Congress to wake up and do their job.
