A very simple solution to prevent accidents and save lives at the Highway 151 and Springville intersection would be to install traffic lights. All they would have to do is put in left-turn lanes to the north and south. The left-turn lanes are already in place to the east and west.

The yellow blinking lights are not doing a thing, except distracting drivers. Drive out to the intersection of Secrist Road and Highway 13. This is working. Drive out to the intersection of Mount Vernon Road and Highway 13. This is working.

Would this be too simple?
