One in ten people in the U.S. suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in their lifetime. PTSD can occur after events such as combat exposure, physical abuse, a serious accident or a natural disaster. Dr. Luke Hansen, psychologist at Mercy Medical Center, will identify risk factors, treatment techniques and strategies to prevent PTSD in a 'live' webinar on Thurs., Jan. 24 at noon.
