America’s divisiveness has increased

Since the re-election of President Obama, America’s divisiveness has increased because the greatest problem this nation faces has been ignored for decades. Americans have been supporting politicians who are poor stewards of the people’s trust and now all will suffer worse than any can imagine.

Cal Thomas’ Dec. 7 column nailed it with these words: “A self indulgent nation cannot long exist,” and the present borrow-and-spend administration can do nothing for future expectations of hardworking Americans. For proof, look to past elections and witness Europe’s present to see this nation’s disastrous ending.

Since the 2000 vote, county-by-county maps have shown the majority of voting Democrats live in high-population areas where dependency upon government is the highest. Those Americans who don’t complain about life being unfair have voted against dependency to government because it has done more harm to the “human spirit” than anything else throughout history
