Connecting Today’s Students to Tomorrow’s Careers

Join us for a conversation with educators, employers and local resource providers to identify the gaps, challenges and needs and build awareness of existing programs in workforce development for today’s students.
 
Who should attend?
 •Educators: administrators, principals, school counselors, teachers, superintendents, anyone who interacts with students
•Employers: owners, managers, HR, team leaders, trainers, temp agencies
 
Agenda (times are approximate): 
1:00:  Welcome and presentations from employers, educators and the United Way 
2:00:  Presentations from a panel of workforce resource providers 
3:00:  Small group discussion (by industry) and breakout sessions 
4:00:  Large group discussion from breakout sessions 
4:30:  Student presentations
