The Cedar Rapids Fire Department is sponsoring a Christmas Break Coloring Contest now through January 2, 2013. The contest is designed for children ages 7 through 13. Children who participate have a chance of winning one of 25 prizes that will be distributed.

Prizes include a Fire Truck Ride, $25 Toys ‘R Us Gift Card, $20 McDonald’s Gift Card, $20 Wal*Mart Gift Card, $20 Hy-Vee Gift Card, Cedar Rapids Museum of Art passes, Science Station passes, and Collins Road Theatre movie tickets.

The coloring sheet includes fire department-related objects to find within a Christmas wreath. Coloring sheets can be downloaded at the Fire Department’s Website at www.cedar-rapids.org/fire or picked up at the Central Fire Station, 1010 1st Street NW, or the Police Substation, 1501 1st Avenue SE.

Winners will be contacted the week of January 7, 2013.
