CALLING BATTLESHIP VETERANS: Jeff Lamberti, a former Iowa legislator, is compiling the names of all the Iowa veterans who served on the decommissioned USS Iowa battleship, now a floating museum off San Pedro, Calif. Lamberti is collaborating with the Iowa All-Academy Ball to invite USS Iowa veterans to the event on Dec. 29 for special recognition.
