RoughRiders beat Muskegon 5-4 in shootout

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Bryson Cianfrone and Dylan Steman scored in a shootout Friday night to give the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders a 5-4 USHL victory over Muskegon.

Goals by Davey Middleton and Steman gave the Riders a 2-1 lead after the first period, then Muskegon scored three straight goals in the second period Steman added another to make it 3-2. Clay Anderson’s third-period goal sent it to a scoreless overtime and the shootout.

Steve Michalek got the win in goal.
