Legislators and Economic Development Professionals to Discuss Skilled Worker Shortage

State Senators Rob Hogg, Liz Mathis, and Wally Horn will meet with community college officials and local business owners to discuss how the state of Iowa can help fill skilled worker shortages.  State Representative Kirsten Running- Marquardt and State Representative-elect Art Staed will also attend.

This public meeting will be held on Monday, December 10th, in Cedar Rapids from 10 AM to 11:30 AM in Room 159F located in the Kirkwood Center for Continuing Education.

ICAD Group and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance will represent many of the employers in Iowa's Creative Corridor at the meeting.
