Horizons Meals On Wheels is proud to offer a new cookbook to grace your family’s collection just in time for the holidays, Made With Love: The Meals On Wheels Family Cookbook. Over 100 celebrities united to create a montage of family favorites, hardbound by the Meals On Wheels Association of America in their effort to end senior hunger. Famous contributors include Mario Batali, former First Lady Barbara Bush, Martha Stewart, and Cedar Rapids’ own Kurt Warner.

Horizons is pleased to offer Made With Love at a sale price of $25, with proceeds staying directly within Horizons Meals On Wheels program serving Eastern Iowa’s seniors. Books can be purchased at NewBo City Market on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Cash, check, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard are accepted. Books can also be purchased Monday-Friday during normal business hours at Horizons, 819 5th Street SE.

“Made With Love is the perfect holiday present. What better way to celebrate the season than with a gift that gives back,” smiles Bill Gardam, Horizons President & CEO. “The cookbook is an amazing way to help support our cause. It’s just one small way to do something much bigger: feed a senior in need.”
