Swish winsFall Classic

The Eastern Iowa Swish seventh-grade girls’ basketball team won the Mid-America Sports Hoop It Up Fall Classic tournament recently.

The Swish, also champions of their Salvation Army league, won all their games at the Hoop It Up event.

Kid First gymnastsplace at Hoedown

WAUKEE — Camryn Christner and Emma Howes of the Kids First Gymnastic club placed at the Harvest Hoedown.

Christner placed second in Level 5 vault, bars and all-around, third on the beam and floor exercise. Howes was second on the bars, beam, floor and all-around.
