Multimedia journalist Max Freund visited Jim’s Foods in Cedar Rapids Wednesday afternoon, asking people purchasing Powerball tickets about their lottery strategies ahead of Wednesday night’s drawing for a jackpot estimated at $550 million as of Wednesday afternoon.

Six people gave Freund one of their favorite lottery numbers, and he combined those six numbers to buy one Powerball ticket. Will it be the winning combination? We’ll find out Wednesday night. In the meantime, watch the video and judge for yourself.
