Surprise, surprise. Turns out big-motored boats have again demonstrated that they can get along with their 9.9 HP friends and can obey the 5 mph/no-wake rule and have again done so successfully since being given equal access to Lake Macbride this past September.

Maybe it’s time Sen. Liz Mathis convinces her friends and the Legislature that the time has come to give all citizens the opportunity to use state-funded Lake Macbride all year long under the same limited mph and no-wake rules. It’s the Democratic thing to do.
