Let’s help people win, not lose. I know how families lose when one member becomes addicted to gambling. I’m thinking of a breadwinner who came home empty-handed because his paycheck was used to gamble. Another friend I know, doesn’t want a gambling facility in town because she’s then so tempted to go.

Let’s choose good ways to bring in the money our city needs and again say “no dice” to gambling in Cedar Rapids.
