One loud voice for all in power to hear

Many small voices can grow into one loud voice that will cause our elected officials to hear us clearly. If you agree with the following, please email your congressmen, senators and the president with this message:

Elections are past. America listened to rhetoric, debates and hours of commercials, then made decisions and went to the polls. I did my job. Now I expect you to do yours and resolve the pending financial crisis before year end. Let me be clear about my expectations for you between now and the end of the year.

l Your number one priority is to address the budget. I expect a long-range plan to restore the financial health of our country and confidence on Wall Street.

l I expect you and your colleagues to work through Thanksgiving and/or Christmas break to complete this critical work. Hundreds of thousands of your fellow Americans will be working the holidays (i.e. nurses, truck drivers, waiters, etc.). If working the holidays is good enough for your constituents, it is good enough for you.

l I expect political games played with my life and the lives of fellow Americans will end to meet this objective.

I will remember if you let our country fall off the “fiscal cliff” or give us another “stopgap” solution with no “long-range” plan.
