The suspect in a robbery at Wells Fargo Bank, 3750 First Ave. NE, in Cedar Rapids is shown on this series of surveillance images provided by police.

Authorities are looking for a man they say robbed a bank in northeast Cedar Rapids Wednesday afternoon.

Officials responded to a robbery at Wells Fargo, 3570 First Ave. NE, around 12:50 p.m. Lt. Cody Estling said a man walked into the bank and passed a note to a teller indicating this was a robbery. Police are still trying to determine if a weapon was shown. The man left with an undetermined amount of money, Estling said. No one was injured.

The suspect is described a black male, 6 feet tall and around 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen fleeing the bank towards Planned Parenthood, 3425 First Ave. SE, in a gray stocking cap, gloves and yellow hooded sweat shirt, police said.

The incident remains under investigation. The same bank branch was robbed in January 2011.
