NICHOLS – Officials are searching for a suspect in connection with a Sunday robbery at a Casey’s General Store.

According to a press release, a white male entered Casey’s General Store, 1334 Iowa Hwy. 22 around 6:45 p.m. The man brandished a knife and demanded money from the cash register, authorities said. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. Two employees who were working at the time were not injured, officials said. The suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, six feet tall with brown hair.

The case remains under investigation by the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (563) 263-6055 and ask to speak with an investigator.
