Heartland Express, Inc.’s Board of Directors announced the declaration of a regular quarterly cash dividend. The $0.02 per share dividend will be paid on December 17, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 7, 2012. A total of approximately $1.7 million will be paid on the Company’s 85.0 million shares of common stock. This is the Company’s 38th consecutive quarterly cash dividend.

The Board of Directors also announced a special dividend of $1.00 per share.
