CRST International in Cedar Rapids has named John Gallardo to its senior leadership team.

Gallardo takes over as group president of the company’s Asset Light Division, which includes CRST Logistics, CRST Malone and Specialized Transportation. He will be based in Cedar Rapids and report directly to CRST President and CEO Dave Rusch.

Gallardo has more than 25 years of trucking industry experience, most recently as president and CEO of PLS Logistics Services in Pittsburgh. He has a bachelor’s degree in management and quantitative business from the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown, Penn.
